Do you feel Proposition 2, the Standards for Confining Farm Animals act, should pass or fail? ( surveys)

" If you want to drive away what little agriculture business remains in California, vote yes on this turkey.

There are plenty of companies that market their products specifically to consumers who care about these types of issues. Feel free to pay the extra cost and then feel good about yourselves, but don't force the rest of us to buy imported food that doesn't have to follow these onerous regulations.... "

" Vote yes to making humane arrangements for food animals. The costs are minimal, and the benefits many: the health of the animals increases, which means better flavor and fewer hormones and antibiotics necessary to chemically augment awful conditions. Put a little *respect* back into our food animal farming operations. "
