The good news for the Calistoga High boys varsity basketball team is that the Wildcats can make drastic improvement over the course of the upcoming season.

Things have started slowly, but the future could be bright for the Pacific Union College men’s basketball team.

With the loss of three senior starters from a team that posted a .500 record last season, it might appear to be a rebuilding year for St. Helena High’s varsity boys basketball team.

A program called Shared Habitat Alliance for Recreational Enhancement (SHARE) has been developed to offer private land hunting opportunities for migratory and upland game birds during the 2008-09 hunting season. 

Micah Wallace, 15, of Napa, hauled in this 28-pound king salmon on a trip to Alaska. He was fishing with his grandfather, George Crane, and his uncle, Michael Crane. All three anglers caught their limit each day.
