" That SUV, the Durango, is one of the largest hulking monsters on the highway. That road is a straight as an arrow also. The good news or better news for all of us is that he hit no one head on and ran this behemoth off the road and into the stream there. There are so many of these people ( intoxicated ) out there at anyone given time that it's chilling. This includes women and men, young and old, going to work early in the morning hours at 8 am. I have been told also. I call in intoxicated drivers ( CHP or local PD ) on my way back from Calistoga to the east bay almost every week now as they are swaying from lane to lane later and I fear passing them and so should you. If will not be until or unless the manufactures of all of these cars put electronic devices on them ( internally ) that will not allow you to move the vehicle that this will start to abate. This condition affects people from all walks of life apparently a.g. superior count judges, police officers, doctors as well as not so well known. I still cannot believe that people do this and yet they do and they do it every day. Poor judgment, personality disorders and secret and hidden demons I guess. However American culture supports and encourages this just as it did smoking cigarettes. "
