Jason Salinas, 26, of Napa was booked into Napa County jail Monday on suspicion of kidnapping, domestic battery and parole violation.

At about 7:30 Monday night, Napa police responded to the 100 block of Soscol Avenue regarding a possible kidnapping.
A woman told police that she and her boyfriend were involved in an argument that had occurred at a residence in Pittsburg. During that incident, which took place on Sunday, Salinas grabbed her by her arms and dragged her out of the residence, the woman said.  He then forced her into a vehicle and drove to Napa, police said. While attempting to get gas in the 100 block of Soscol Avenue, the woman advised the clerk she had been kidnapped.

Salinas then fled the area in another vehicle driven by a family friend. The woman  sustained a bump over one of her eyes and bruising to her arm. The victim refused any medical attention.
The next day, at about 7 p.m., Salinas reported to his parole agent at the Napa County jail. The parole agent was aware of the prior incident and contacted the Napa Police Department. Salinas was arrested and booked.
