Fire at Napa school extinguished

Napa firefighters quickly extinguished a small fire at a West Park Elementary School storage building around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The vast majority of the Quonset hut-style storage unit was unscathed except for a small stairway. No storage materials seemed damaged either, fire officials said.

Firefighters could not determine the cause of the incident. Police blocked off a portion of West Park Avenue while firefighters doused the flames.
