10:45 a.m., MapA  fire that started in the garage of an Angwin home brought out CalFire/Napa County firefighters at around 10:25 a.m. today.

A spokeswoman at CalFire said the fire was contained to the home on East Newton Way.
Everyone had made it out of the home safely, she said.

Multiple crews were dispatched, including air tankers, in case the fire spread into the nearby hillside, but fire crews arriving quickly to the scene kept the fire contained to the home, a CalFire spokesperson said.

" I was driving home to Angwin from St Helena when I saw CDF trucks and smoke. Thanks to all the fire crews and planes that made sure the fire was contained. "

" We live in the house next to the one that burnt down. I want to say thank you so very very very much to the fire department who arrived so quickly and contained the fire so our house is still standing and were there to give my husband oxygen when he needed it. I also want to thank all our wonderful neighbors for their support to us an our neighbor while this was happening. Coming originally from a big city I now know what a great community I live in. "
