Napa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Hidden Valley Lake woman on suspicion of domestic violence early Friday morning.

Deputies went to a home on Yount Street in Yountville at 2 a.m. after residents reported that 26-year-old Jamie Austin Nunn and a man were arguing, Napa County Sheriff’s Lt. Tracey Stuart said.
When deputies arrived, they discovered that the man had scratch marks on his face and neck, Stuart said. The deputies took Nunn into custody on suspicion of domestic violence.

In a separate incident, Napa Police officers arrested Jacob Goff, 19, of Napa on suspicion of domestic violence Thursday evening. Officers responded to a disturbance on the 500 block of Riverglen Drive at 10:30 p.m. Police said that Goff and a woman were arguing when Goff allegedly choked her, leaving marks on her neck. During the police interview, the woman told the officers that Goff had also punched her in the stomach, police said. Goff was taken to jail.

" If you get in a fight with your Significant Other, it's pretty obvious all you have to do is scratch yourself and call the cops and claim the SO did it. Even if the cops don't believe you, they still have to arrest the SO. This is just one of the reasons it bothers me to read these reports in the NVR. "
