A Napa man was arrested on drug charges Sunday morning after he tried to dispose of suspected drugs in front of a Napa Police officer.

At about 3:30 a.m., the officer spotted Robert Lewis Barra, 40, behind a building on the 1600 block of Clay Street.
Barra threw a glass methamphetamine pipe into the bushes and tried to discard a bag of suspected methamphetamine, police said. He also showed signs of being under the influence of drugs.

Barra was booked on suspicion of drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of drugs at the Napa County Department of Corrections.

" Commas, in every sentence, are quite important. The necessary commas in this last paragraph could confuse some. If we are wanting our young ones to punctuate properly, especially where the lack of commas practically jumps off the page and bites you directly in your asterisk, then we better do it properly ourselves, right??!!! Just checking!!! "

" Also...shouldn't he get a discount on his court fees since he was already at the Napa County Department of Corrections when he was booked for this paraphernalia..possession...suspicion type stuff? You know, it's not everyday an officer gets full credit for not moving a muscle one before booking a citizen..kidding, of course...read that last paragraph and it will be worth credit on our next exam....
