Two men were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after two separate crashes in Napa County Wednesday.
At 5:25 p.m., Felipe Reyes Alejo, of Napa, was driving a 1993 Toyota Corolla north on Buhman Avenue south of Twin Oaks Drive in the Napa area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
He made an unsafe turning movement and the car traveled off the roadway, the CHP said. It entered a ditch off the side of the road and rolled.
Alejo suffered minor injuries and was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the Napa County Department of Corrections.
At 10:30 p.m., Napa resident Joshua Mitchell, 25, was driving north on Silverado Trail outside of Calistoga in a 2010 Toyota Camry, the CHP said.
He allowed the vehicle to leave the road, and it hit a telephone pole.
A passenger, Calistoga resident Elizabeth Kahie, 42, suffered serious injuries, the CHP said. Both Kahie and Mitchell were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Mitchell was cleared medically and arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
