A man was arrested at Napa County Department of Corrections Saturday after a strip search.

At 8:30 a.m., Ronald Walker, 51, who was in custody at the jail, was searched, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
A baggie of methamphetamine was found in one of his socks, the office said. He was re-arrested on suspicion of drug possession.

" pre strip search it was on the suspects foot, post strip shirt it was in the wardens hands being checked for contraband - pretty obvious... "

" "Who WAS in custody." Sounds like he was already in the big house, and somebody smuggled it in. More info, please, NVR. "

" Thought the name was familiar. He was arrested on 10/31/09 for possession, then re-arrested on, I guess, 11/2/09. That's a heck of a Jones, where you've got to smuggle the stuff in with you, or get someone else to do it. "

" Why can't meth be "medical"? "

" I'm pretty lost. Did they place him under arrest although he was already in custody? If he already had handcuffs on, would he get a second set? Does he get 2 jail cells now? Besides, I think crooked got it backwards. Pre strip it was in the wardens hand, post strip it was in the sock. J.M.O. "

" Maybe T.S.A. should be searching these people. "
