Queen of the Valley sponsors women’s health night
Nearly 50 women attended a Women’s Health Night at Queen of the Valley on Nov. 2.
The event was an opportunity for women to gather to learn more about recent advancements in women’s health, said a news release.
Dr. Susana Gonzalez, OB/GYN spoke about minimally-invasive robotic surgery for pelvic prolapse repair, fibroid removal and hysterectomy.
Dr. David Goller, radiologist, spoke about the hospital’s new 3-D mammography machines for breast cancer screening. A patient of Dr. Gonzalez, Daralyn Christensen, shared her story as well.
Dr. Amy Herold, OB/GYN and chief medical officer, and Kim Brown Sims, RN, chief nursing officer, were co-masters of ceremonies for the event.
