Eric Houck has been named Napa Valley College’s Director of Institutional Technology.
A native of Eugene, Oregon, Houck has served in a similar position at the College of the Siskiyous since January, 2016.
Houck took a job with College of the Siskiyous as a system analyst programmer in 2007. In May, Houck earned a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City.
At NVC, Houck said, he will focus on long-term strategies “to achieve the college’s vision and mission more effectively.”
Michigan native Joseph Latunski has been hired at Napa Valley College as controller.
Latunski attended Michigan State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and Saginaw Valley State Univeristy, where he earned a master’s degree in business administration.
Prior to taking the college job, he worked two years in Napa at Syar Industries, Inc., as accounting manager.
“Napa Valley College is where I want to be,” he said. “The Controller here works together with administrative groups to establish budgets.”
Latunski, who is a certified public accountant, replaced Glenna Aguada, who retired as controller earlier this year.
