Experience Napa Valley during a harvest weekend known as “Crush” on Saturday, October 8, 2016.  The private cycling excursion of varying lengths will take you along vineyard-lined avenues, riding in the company of cycling professionals past and present.

While the cycling is taking place, ZD will also host a private wine tasting for the Crush Challenge as an alternative activity for guests.  Along with special guests of the event, Robert deLeuze, ZD’s winemaster, will host a barrel tasting and food and wine pairing overlooking the vineyards of Rutherford.  A broad selection of ZD’s award-winning wines will be available to taste, including library and large format bottles, paired with delectable small bites.

Also expanded for this year is the Food & Wine Marketplace on Saturday, October 8, which welcomes adults to join local vintner and restaurant partners—including, but not limited to, Joseph Phelps, Silver Oak, St. Supéry, Vineyard 29, Oenotri, Celadon, Cook St. Helena, and Il Posto Trattoria—for an outdoor festival of the Napa Valley experience.  Live music by the Klipptones will round out a perfect afternoon.  Offered à la carte; all cyclists and barrel tasters will receive admission to the Food & Wine Marketplace with the purchase of their event tickets.

Tickets and weekend packages can be viewed and purchased at crushchallenge.org.  For questions and inquiries, call 800-487-7757, or e-mail info@crushchallenge.org.
