Soil may be Earth’s most precious resource, but we know more about life in the deep sea, then we do about the life in our soil.  The health of soil is a key indicator to the health of ecosystems, wildlife habitat, crop productivity, and even humans!  Join Charles Schembre for a discussion of the fundamentals of soil, what healthy soil is, and the role it plays in sustaining healthy ecosystems.  He will also talk about what is being done regionally and nationally to help land managers assess and monitor the health of their soil.
