The Calistoga Boys & Girls Club is showing its members’ art at “Under the Sea” at the Calistoga Clubhouse, 1401 N. Oak St.
The finalists’ artwork is entered into the National Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Fine Arts Exhibit. Art Director Kari Martin guided the members to explore their creativity and incorporated education in the process.
The National Fine Arts Exhibit encourages artistic recognition of Club members ages 6 to 18 by displaying drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture at local and regional exhibits. A panel of judges selects works for inclusion in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, which is displayed the ensuing year at Boys & Girls Clubs of America events, including the annual National Conference.
