Tech Appointments

Need some help with your computer, phone, or tablet? One-on-one, 30-minute sessions are available in English or Spanish by appointment Wednesday through Saturday. Make an appointment in person, over the phone, or by email: 942-4833, or Calistoga Library, 1108 Myrtle St.

Lengthen and Strengthen class

Every Tuesday and Thursday at the Calistoga Community Center, 1307 Washington St., 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., instructor Karen Mann leads a Hatha yoga and fitness class. No registration required; fee is $5.

Rotary Club

Meetings are held every Thursday at noon in the Tucker Room at the Mount St. Helena Golf Course, 2025 Grant St. Each week features a different speaker.

Garden Club

The Calistoga Garden Club will meet at 2:30 in the Tucker Room at the Golf Club, 2025 Grant St. Members will help to prepare plants for the April plant and rummage sale. For more information call 942-6063 or 942-6768.

The Calistoga Lions Club meets the third Thursday of the month from 6-10 p.m. in the Tucker Room at the Mt. St. Helena Golf Course, 2025 Grant St. Info, 942-6400.

Author appearance

New York Times best-selling author James Conaway, who has spent decades writing about Napa Valley will appear at Copperfield’s Books at 7 p.m. to discuss his newest book, “Napa at Last Light: America’s Eden in an Age of Calamity.” Copperfield’s is located at 1330 Lincoln Ave.

County Medi-Cal Services

Every Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. a Medi-Cal workers is available to help with Medi-Cal, food stamp questions or to fill out applications. Held at the UpValley Family Center, 1705 Washington St. For appointments or information, call 341-3185.

Fit Fusion

Calistoga Recreation Department and Calistoga Fit offer this broad and dynamic workout that will challenge your strength, endurance, speed, mobility and balance on Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse, 1401 N. Healthy Minds, Healthy Aging

A support and assistance for older adults service provided at Rianda House Senior Activity Center on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. The center is located at 1475 Main St., in St. Helena. Assistance in Calistoga is provided on the first Thursday of the month by appointment. Info: 963-8555.

Calistoga Camera Club

The Calistoga Camera Club holds informal meetings over lunch every Friday at noon at the Palisades Deli and Cafe located in the Calistoga Depot, 1458 Lincoln Ave. Info:


For those 50 and older living with Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor or balance issues, this free movement class will help increase strength, balance and posture. Every Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Calistoga Community Center. Free. Drop-ins welcome.

Tai Chi

Combining slow, meditative movement, Tai Chi helps aid in relaxation, balance and posture. This class is designed for those 50 and older. Every Friday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Calistoga Community Center. Free. Drop-ins welcome.

Find fresh local produce and artisan wares at the weekly Saturday Farmers Market. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 1235 Washington St.

Music Clinic

Have burning music questions? Looking to fine-tune your guitar or ukulele technique? Join Dan & Dan every fourth Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Drop-in, no registration required. Calistoga Library, 1108 Myrtle St.

Family Storytime

City Council meeting

The Calistoga City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of every month beginning at 6 p.m. at the Community Center, 1311 Washington St.

Citizen workshop and fee waiver assistance

A citizen workshop and fee waiver assistance program will be held with appointments available for 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. The workshop will be held in the Calistoga Junior-Senior High School-Library, 1608 Lake St.

Food pantry

The third Tuesday of each month food is distributed from the “Rock room” at the Napa County Fairgrounds, 1435 N. Oak St., to those who meet certain criteria from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and again from 4 to 6 p.m. Info: 942-6042.
