The Napa Valley Museum presents a free Family Fun Day, “The 2018 STEM Challenge" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13.
Young visitors will use their critical thinking, problem solving and observation skills to face these challenges: Can you build a foil boat strong enough to hold 20 marbles? Or 30? Or 50?
Can you build 3-D structures from a 2-D picture? How about solving a Tetris puzzle?
Eden Chung, Napa Valley Museum Yountville’s education and visitor experience manager, will lead the activities, and the museum provides all instructions and supplies for the activity. Reserve a place at the website, napavalleymuseum.org or at eventbrite.com/e/family-fun-activity-the-2018-stem-challenge-tickets-41361093143
Kids who participate in Family Fun Activities receive free admission to the museum.
The Napa Valley Museum, at 55 Presidents Circle in Yountville, is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 pm.
