A late-night traffic stop in Calistoga led to the arrest of a San Francisco man on suspicion of cannabis possession, according to police.
At 2:50 a.m. Wednesday, officers stopped a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina sedan at Lincoln Avenue and Fair Way, according to Calistoga Police Sgt. Matt Freese.
After detecting a marijuana-like scent coming from the car, police found 2 pounds of hashish inside, Freese said. Officers arrested one of the three occupants, 30-year-old Kayhlin Arterberry, on suspicion of possessing concentrated cannabis and transporting a controlled substance. He was booked into the Napa County jail.
The driver of the Chevrolet was cited for having a suspended license, but the car’s third occupant was not charged, according to Freese.
