Things have continued to trend upward for the Calistoga High boys soccer team.
Since the Wildcats lost their first North Central League II game of the year to rival Roseland University Prep, they have gone 5-0-1 and outscored the opposition 22-1.
Last Friday in Rohnert Park, Calistoga beat Technology 4-0. The Wildcats (9-2-1 overall, 7-1-1 NCL II) scored one goal in the first half and three in the second.
Abad Cuenca continued his goal-scoring rampage with his sixth hat trick of the season. He also had an assist. Wilmer Ulloa scored the fourth goal.
Assisting on the other scores were Eduardo Avina, Sammy Cruz and Manuel Zavala.
The Wildcats traveled to Richmond to face Making Waves Academy Wednesday in a non-league rematch of last year’s North Coast Section Division 2 semifinal. Calistoga lost 2-1 in the second period of extra time.

Calistoga 8, Sonoma Academy 0
After defeating host Rincon Valley Christian 2-0 Sept. 22, and forcing a 1-1 draw against Anderson Valley two days before, the Wildcats notched a comfortable win in Santa Rosa last Wednesday.
Cuenca scored a season-high seven goals. Manuel Garcia scored the last goal. Assisting for Calistoga was Ulloa with three, and Zavala and Roberto Romero with one each.
Calistoga 3, Round Valley 0
The Wildcats improved to 10-6 overall and 4-2 in North Central League III action with a dominant showing against the Mustangs last Thursday in Calistoga.
The final scores were 25-4, 25-5, 25-11.
