A driver and a passenger in an SUV were arrested Friday after police stopped the Chevrolet Suburban at 10:08 a.m. on Highway 29 at Kimberly Drive after seeing the vehicle weave and cross the white fog line on the right side of the road, according to American Canyon police.

When the passenger, Christopher Lawellin, 41, of Chetopa, Kan., stepped out of the vehicle, a black plastic case containing a suspected methamphetamine pipe fell onto the ground, police said. The pipe contained a usable amount of suspected methamphetamine, police said.

Lawellin was booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, according to the jail logs.

The driver, Robert Littlejohn, 25, of Broken Arrow, Okla., was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, police said.
