A man was arrested Friday on suspicion of methamphetamine possession after a resident reported at 1 a.m. a suspicion person in a backyard near Patricia and Stetson drives, according to the American Canyon Police Department.

A person matching the suspect’s description was found nearby, near Marla and Elliott drives, carrying aluminum cans in a plastic bag, according to police and jail records.

Leonardo Del Valle, 31, of Vallejo, allegedly had a pipe in his pocket with a small amount of suspected methamphetamine in it, police said. He allegedly also had a plastic bag with a small amount of suspected meth, police said.

Del Valle was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession, police said.
