Dance studio expands to AmCan

The Dance Factory has opened a location in American Canyon, offering group dance instruction in a variety of dance styles for preschoolers through adults.

The studio, located at 3431 Broadway St., Suite A1 in Canyon Plaza, offers “all things dance,” said Georgina Samuel, owner of The Dance Factory.

“With The Dance Factory, I wanted to create a dance environment where everyone would feel welcome no matter what their goals are in dance,” she said, adding that the studio is a center that “bridges quality instruction and a fun welcoming environment.”

The Dance Factory’s main location opened in Cordelia in March 2016 and offers more 30 classes a week for hundreds of students from Napa and Solano counties.

Samuel, a previous Napa resident and mother of three children, said, “There is a need for more dance education in the area and for the arts in general.”

She hopes the new location will be convenient for American Canyon residents wishing to experience dance in a studio environment.

Other services available at The Dance Factory include birthday parties and Toddler Jam, a play-based dance class for children ages 18 months to 2 1/2 years old.
