Napa County Farm Bureau hires a policy director
A group that advocates for farmers in Napa County has added a policy director to its staff, Napa County Farm Bureau officials have announced.
Ryan Klobas joined the staff of the Napa County Farm Bureau and has extensive experience in public administration, politics and law.
Previously, Klobas directly advised the governor of California on environmental issues and made recommendations for appointments to all of the state’s environmental boards and commissions.
Farm Bureau officials said Klobas also has experience as the chief of staff to Contra Costa County Supervisor Mary Piepho.
Klobas earned a law degree at Golden Gate University and a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga.
