Recently I had the pleasure of volunteering as a chaperone for a group of American Canyon High School students on a trip to the California Academy of Science. I went as a member of the Napa Solano Audubon.
It was a wonderful experience. The Academy is an amazing place and it was fun to be with young people exploring all the exhibits. They were junior and senior AP Environmental Studies students from that wonderful, state of the art high school. They were fun, respectful, thoughtful, and a real joy to join on an adventure.
I was so impressed with all young people, it really gives me hope for the future. Congratulations to the school, the teachers, the parents, and most of all to the students.
