The Jarvis Conservatory's December edition of "It's a Grand Night for Singers" includes an audience sing-along of a medley holiday songs to celebrate "this most wonderful time of the year" on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
Music for December program includes famous opera arias by Verdi, Saint-Saens and Puccini, well-loved songs from Stephen Schwartz's "Wicked" and Claude-Michel Schoenberg's "Les Miserables" and Rodgers & Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music" as well as holiday favorites like Adam's "O Holy Night."
Vocal artists include Jennifer Thuman, Bonnie Cullen, Elena Yakoubovsky and Lenny Murphy, as well as newcomers to the Jarvis stage Aimee Oulette and Erykka Ximone.
These monthly events are hosted by composer Richard B. Evans, music director.
Tickets are $20 at the door at 6 p.m. The house opens at 6:30 for general seating. Complimentary wine and tapas are served at intermission.
