Richard B. Evans returns to the Jarvis Conservatory stage on Saturday, March 3, to present an evening of vocal artists in the Jarvis series It's a Grand Night for Singers, now in its 23rd year.
In celebration of St. Patrick's Day in March, the program will lead off with Ireland-born singer Esther Mulligan. The evening will also feature actress and singer Ashley Adler who has appeared off-Broadway, in film and on TV, and in national tours of Broadway shows.
Also returning to the Jarvis stage will be Mulligan's bass-baritone husband John Iliyan, Santa Rosa residents Brandy Noveh and Ariana LaMark, and popular Bay Area opera blogger Ross Halper.
As always, the evening's wide-ranging repertoire will include everything from Mozart, Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky to Cole Porter, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim and Frank Wildhorn.
"It's a Grand Night for Singers" continues the first Saturday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Jarvis Conservatory, 1711 Main St., Napa. Tickets are $20 and available at the box office beginning at 6 p.m., with doors opening for general seating at 6:30 p.m. Complimentary wine and tapas are served at intermission.
