Scheduled performers include Lanterman, Laura Benitez, Jimmy Duhig, Brian Coutch, Sara Rodenburg, Zak Fennie, the Sorry Lot, Ordinary Sons, Krooked, Dirty Cello, Amber Snider, Suzanne Kramer, Donovan Plant and many others.

In addition to the music, the event will include a silent auction, a raffle and an opportunity to donate cash and other goods and services.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Disaster Relief Fund and to a special fund established for the 40-plus firefighters who lost their own homes while fighting the recent and continuing blazes. The Relief Fund was initially established by the Community Foundation in response to the 2014 Napa earthquake.

Earlier this week, singer-songwriter Lanterman described her inspiration for the event and the enthusiastic response of local musicians. “I grew up in Napa,” she said. “This is my home, and like so many people, I wanted to do something to help.

“Music is such a communal experience, and we could probably all use a day out to relax, mingle and share our stories. I want this to be a Napa Valley event organized by Napans to benefit the needs of Napa Valley.”

“I put out the word on social media with the local musician community on Monday afternoon after the fires started,” Lanterman added. “The response I received was overwhelming. Napa and the surrounding area has a thriving music scene, and we filled up our bill pretty quickly.

“The first half of the day will feature area singer-songwriters and the second half will feature full bands. We’re all there with the goal of giving the weary a night out, and the victims a bit of hope.”

Sunday, Oct. 22, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. $5 cover. Billco’s Billiards & Darts, 1234 Third St., Napa. 707-226-7506.
