Two stars  from the San Francisco production of "Hamilton" will headline Festival Napa Valley Arts for All gala, which takes place on Sunday, July 16 at Hall St. Helena.

Michael Luwoye, who plays Alexander Hamilton and Jordan Donica, who appears as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical, will entertain guests at the gala, a centerpiece of Festival Napa Valley 2017 taking place July 14–23. The festival presents international performers and up-and-coming new stars, as well as lavish lunches and dinners throughout the valley.

The gala raises funds to help provide free and affordable tickets to performances for Napa residents. It also supports public school arts education programs in Napa County, and giving scholarships to emerging musicians.

Tickets for the gala are $1,000 a person, about the going rate for premium seats at the Broadway touring performance in San Francisco through Aug. 5. A ticket to the gala, however, includes a $550 tax deduction. The annual charity event, which features dinner and auction, has raised more than $5.5 million.

“Some people may consider art and culture a luxury. We consider it vital. That’s why Festival Napa Valley exists,” stated Rick Walker, Festival Napa Valley president and CEO. “We are honored to have the cultural phenomenon of the decade helping us raise awareness and money to ensure the arts remain accessible to everyone.”

Table sponsorships for the Arts for All Gala range from $15,000 to $50,000. To purchase, visit or call 707-346-5052.

Other stars scheduled to perform at this year's festival include Bill Murray, who will perform with cellist Jan Vogler  in "Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends -- New Worlds from Hemingway to Bach," an evening of music and words on Thursday, July 20.

Australian-American soprano Danielle de Niese and Brazilian baritone Paulo Szot will perform at an opening night gala on Friday, July 16. Violinist Joshua Bell, Cuban pianist Aldo Lopez-Gavilan and the Havana Chamber Orchestra are also scheduled to perform.
