Angwin-based LLT Productions took the Platinum Award for "Hell and Mr. Fudge" in the Christian theatrical feature film category at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival in April.

"Hell and Mr. Fudge," produced and directed by Jeff Wood, was filmed in Alabama in June 2011. The movie, LLT Productions' first feature-length project, features Mackenzie Astin in the title role.

Based on a true story, the film from traces Edward Fudge's journey from the traditional doctrine of hell and everlasting torment to a radically new concept of God.
