The McClelland-Priest Bed and Breakfast and Villa Spankadellik presents "At the Gates Edge" an exhibition of contemporary art by Kristi Rene and Edmund Ian Grant in a Victorian setting. The show's opening is 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 569 Randolph St., Napa.
Kristi Rene is a self-taught, award-winning artist who has participated in over 30 group and solo exhibitions including the Sausalito Art Festival. Her works explore the inner dialogue between the human and spiritual. Her work can be viewed at kristirene.com.
Edmund Ian Grant is a self-taught artist whose works are collected internationally. His numerous awards include the Leonardo Award first prize in painting the top honor at the 2015 Biennale of Chianciano. He was chosen to produce the 2014 label for Heidi Barrett and John Schwartz cult winery Amuse Bouche joining a group of artists that include Le Roy Neiman, Wayne Thiebaud, George Rodrique, Ira Yeager, Hunt Slonem and Tony Curtis.
