Silo's presents evening of home-grown music beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14, to raise spirits, raise glasses, and raise funds to support those residents affected by the recent North Bay firestorm.
The local band Phoenix Rising will perform its brand of classic rock and pop songs from the 20th century. Joining Phoenix Rising is Rodger Collinson, firefighter and paramedic with the city of Napa, who brings his own spin to such classics as "Peaceful Easy Feeling," "Piano Man" and "House of the Rising Sun."
All of the bands' proceeds for the evening will be donated to the Napa City Firefighters Charitable Fund, affiliated with Firefighters Local 3124. The fund has a history of supporting causes, including youth sports and The Burn Foundation. It is a tax-exempt 501 c (3) organization.
Doors open and seating begins at 6 p.m., allowing guests to order small plates, cocktails, craft beers and Napa Valley wines.
The cover charge is $5.
Franc D’Ambrosio celebrates the season
On Sunday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. Silo's, Franc D’Ambrosio celebrates the sounds of the season with holiday standards from the great American Songbook. D'Ambrosio played the role of the Phantom on Broadway in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom Of The Opera" and is frequently a guest artist with major American orchestras' pop series). Doors open and seating begins at 5 p.m.
