Two upcoming shows for kids and families are being presented by E&M Presents.

The first is the nationally-renown sketch comedy troupe, Story Pirates,” in a show called “All NEW Greatest Hits.”

Dance, theater and music, based on favorite stores written by kids from around the country, take center stage. The last story presented will be improvised using suggestions from kids in the audience.

Shows are Saturday, April 21, at 1 and 3 p.m. at the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center.

Free arts activities take place in the lobby one hour prior to each show.

For tickets and information, visit or call 707-224-4353.

Olate Dogs features father-and-son trainers Richard and Nicholas Olate and their four-legged ensemble — winners of the 2012, seventh season of America’s Got Talent, claiming the $1 million prize.

They’ll perform one show on Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater.

Olate Dogs features acts that include dog tricks such as jumping rope, going down slides and riding scooters. The act also includes a doggy conga line and a talented canine that performs backflips.

Up to 10 of their 22 dogs, of which 80 percent are rescues, perform during each show. Amy Reiter of the Los Angeles Times called Olate Dogs “the most talented puppies on the planet.”
