After a successful wrap of the seventh annual Napa Valley Film Festival (NVFF), organizers have announced the dates for next year’s event as well as their annual holiday sale on 2018 festival passes and Pass Plus packages.
Co-founders Brenda and Marc Lhormer and their team are closing out 2017 asking for attendee and partner feedback, and planning for the 2018 production taking place Nov. 7-11. It will feature more than 120 films, 300 filmmakers and Q&As, chef and filmmaker culinary demonstrations, celebrity tributes, awards ceremony, the festival gala, and VIP receptions and dinners.
The holiday sale offers discounted passes until Dec. 31. After that date, prices increase each quarter until rack rates, or more expensive, rates set in on Oct. 1.
“NVFF Passes make great holiday gifts for those who love film, food and wine,” said Brenda Lhormer. “We are excited to make 2018 even better, and will continue to ask attendees about their experiences and hear about what they’d like to see next year. We’re very happy how well the festival went in November, after the challenges of postponing two weeks of critical pre-production due to the Valley fires. But our team and partners rallied, and the community went above and beyond to support us and be a part of a very special and memorable festival. We are very grateful. Now, we hope locals will take advantage of the current best pricing, plus locals discounts, and mark their calendars for Nov. 7-11.”
Festival organizers also just announced that they will donate $11,000 to the Napa Valley Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund. Other donations this past November included a $6,000 grant from the Grace Family Foundation to underwrite tickets for local students and veterans to see the documentary film “Blood Road” on Veterans Day, and the Lexus donation of $25,000 worth of tickets to select movies for victims of the fires.
