Toni passed away peacefully on March 1, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in San Francisco on December 6, 1932 to her parents, Fred and Josephine. She also had 2 older sisters, Emily and Madeline. The family moved to Napa when Toni was 6. She loved school and excelled in it. She graduated from Napa High School at 17. She then married Robert Wiley and had four children. Her children are Carole (Dewayne) Cook, Michael (Sheri) Wiley, Robert (Rhonda) Wiley, and Thomas (Romelia) Wiley. Her husband Robert was a Merchant Marine and he passed away when the children were teenagers. It was a tough time for the family. Toni went to work and she loved all her jobs. The last place she worked at was Trade Fair, as a bookkeeper.
A few years later along came Vernon Blaziek, with four children of his own. His children are David (Susan) Blaziek, Linda Blaziek, Patricia Zavela and Mitchel Blaziek. They were all grown, except for Mitchel, who was 6 when they met.
They were married on February 28, 1976. Toni quit her job to care for Mitchel. After Mitchel was grown, she volunteered at Kaiser of Napa for many years. Vernon and Toni were married for 42 years.
Toni is predeceased by her parents, her two sisters, and her stepchildren David and Linda.
