It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Wallace Fuchs (Bob) announces his passing after a brief illness, on Saturday November 4, 2017, at the age of 74 years. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his children, Christine Haupt of Fairfield, Teri Fuchs of Napa, and Bobbie Andersen of Napa. Bob will also be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Jacquelyn Haupt of Redwood City, Dallas Telle, Hunter Andersen, and Landon Guerrera from Napa, by his nieces Kim Nixon, Julie Carter, Tori Starrett and his nephew Bill Carlos, by his sisters, Janet (Fuchs) Schmidt, and Judy (Fuchs) Starrett. He also will be lovingly remembered by his former wife Barbara Fuchs from Napa and Carol (Fuchs) Cypher from Napa. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Vera Fuchs from Vallejo.
Bob attended Vallejo High School from 1958 through 1961. He worked for Kaiser Steel and Napa Pipe and also worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard. He was an active member of Napa Valley Cruisers Car Club, Harley Motorcycle Club, and a trailer club. He was always building and working on classic cars. He won many trophies at the car shows for the classic cars he created in his particular class. He loved taking camping trips in his motorhome. He loved so much being with his family.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 16, followed by a Memorial service at 11 am, at Skyview Memorial Lawn and Mortuary, 200 Rollingwood Dr., Vallejo, California, with Pastor Larry Davis officiating.
