Robert Teicheira1926 – 2017Robert passed away at home on September 17th with his wife of 37 years Beverly by his side. Robert was born in Vallejo, California and lived most of his adult life in the Napa Valley and Healdsburg area. His service in the Navy during World War II led him to a long and successful career at Mare Island Shipyards.
Upon his retirement in the 1970’s he developed his love of cooking, gardening, home improvement projects, as well as travel. He married his wife Beverely and together they blended their families which came to include many grandchildren. He was always the calm in our storms—his kindness was a large part of our family as a whole and he shall be missed more than we can express.
Robert was preceded in death by his son Dean Teicheira. He is survived by his wife Beverely Teicheira, sons David Teicheira (Theresa), Dennis Teicheira (Christine), Dana Teicheira (Lori). Stepchildren Mike Zanzi, Tina Percey (Mike), Tracine Dena (Mark), Russell Waggoner as well as 13 Grandchildren.
Please join us as we celebrate his life and love for us on Sunday, October 29th in St. Helena with a Pot-Luck lunch at The Magnolia Room, on the corner of Pine Street & Oak Avenue, St. Helena from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
