Rhonda Lynn Nelson of Napa, daughter of Ron and Chris Minafo of Green Valley, Calif., and Barry Edward Logar of Napa, son of Richard Logar of Napa and the late Judy Logar, were married on Oct. 5, 2013, at The Father’s House in Napa. The reception was held at the Centre Cafe in Napa.

The bridal party was small, with only close family involved. The bride’s children, Kaitlyn and Blake, were both included in the ceremony as they united as a family: Kaitlyn, the bride’s 14-year-old daughter, was Rhonda’s maid of honor; and 8-year-old Blake served as the ring bearer.

Tina Eiken, Rhonda’s sister from Georgia, was the bride’s matron of honor. Barry’s best man was his brother, Brent Logar. The role of flower girl went to the bride and groom’s 18-month-old goddaughter, Madison Jones.

Rhonda graduated from Napa High in 1994 and is currently working towards earning her associates degree in early childhood education at Napa Valley College. She works at Presbyterian Day School in downtown Napa as the lead 2-year-old teacher and head of the Creative Child Care Program.

Barry graduated from Vintage High School in 1996. He works as an assistant golf professional at Chardonnay Golf Club, and as the lead instructor for Wine Country Golf Schools in Napa.

The newlyweds are planning to take a honeymoon trip next spring. They will continue to make their home in Napa.
