Once again this year, Wednesday through Saturday nights, Oenotri will offer a special “Olio Nuovo” menu celebrating the freshest olive oils from all over the northern hemisphere.

Chef Tyler Rodde has partnered with Veronica Foods to create olive oil pairings for every menu item and the Olio Nuovo evenings will also feature olive oil tastings, olive oil flights and olive oil education tableside.

Olio Nuovo oils represent are the first oils produced in each harvest, made from olives that are picked and then pressed within hours. To truly enjoy this seasonal treat, Rodde and Veronica Foods have selected oils that will be rushed to the restaurant and enjoyed within a week of their pressing. Some of the menu offerings this will include Marinara Pizza: San Marzano tomato sauce, scallops, clams, squid and garlic; scallop crudo with citrus, fennel and Gaeta olives; crostone with white bean passato, mushroom conserva and lardo; sunchoke vellutata with warm spice, orange zest and croccante; and olive oil-poached Hudson Ranch pork loin with olive oil smashed potatoes.
