Now open is the Pastranomy Delicatessen, a food truck that is parked Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Clinton and Main streets in Napa.
With the slogan “Eat or we both starve,” the food truck operation is managed by Allen Miller.
Noting that “pastrami is our specialty,” the menu includes specialty sandwiches — like pastrami ($8.95), corned beef ($9.50), a pastrami and corned beef combo ($12.95), classic Reuben ($9.95), turkey breast ($8.50), and tuna salad ($7.95).
The sandwiches are served on a choice of New York rye, challah, whole wheat, pumpernickel or onion rolls. Lettuce wraps with no bread are also available. Sides include potato salad and coleslaw.
Other items include 1/3-pound kosher hot dogs with sauerkraut ($6.95), potato latke “tots” with sour cream and applesauce ($4.95), and “Reuben balls” ($5.95) from an “exclusive Cleveland recipe.” Chicken matzo ball soup is available by the pint ($5.95) or quart ($9.95).
Desserts include rugelach (two for $1.95), brownie bites ($1.25), seven-layer dream bar bites ($1.25), and New York cheesecake ($4.95).
Pastranomy also caters events. For details, call 483-DELI (3354) or visit Pastranomy.com.
