With Valentine’s Day approaching, restaurants have been sharing details of specials they are planning. Here are the ones we’ve received so far:
Acacia House: On Wednesday, Feb. 14, Acacia House by Chef Chris Cosentino in St. Helena, will be offering their full dinner menu, in addition to specials including local oysters, parsnip-apple cider, sturgeon caviar, buttered perigord truffle mafaldine pasta, and Wagyu short rib for two, and for dessert, a White, Blond and Dark Chocolate Neapolitan with strawberries and rose sorbet.
Acacia House is also offering their afternoon tea service on Valentine’s Day from 3-4 p.m. This features traditional tea dishes such as freshly baked pastries with homemade preserves, savory sandwiches, and a section of sweets, all accompanied by a pot of loose leaf tea. Guests have the option to add champagne and caviar. The menu and tea service is available for $49 per person, and champagne and caviar is an additional $36 per person. Ackerman Heritage House: In honor of Valentine’s Day, the Ackerman Heritage House in Napa will be serving a romantic Victorian Valentine’s dinner and a traditional afternoon English tea.
The dinner, on Saturday, Feb. 10, 6:30-9:30 p.m., begins with a glass of sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a four-course dinner, prepared by chef Kelly Macdonald and his team. Served in the dining room of the restored, 1888 Queen Anne Victorian, it will be paired with Ackerman Family Vineyards and Lloyd Cellars wines. The cost is $295 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
The tea, on Sunday, Feb. 11, has two seatings at noon and 2:30 p.m. The cost is $55 per person and includes a tea, finger sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Wines are also available by the bottle for an additional fee.

Angèle Restaurant & Bar: One of Napa’s most romantic restaurants, Angèle notes it will be adding something special — to be determined — to their regular menu on Valentines’ Day. Check online at angelerestaurant.com, or call 707-252-8115. Angèle is at 540 Main St.
CIA at Copia: The Napa CIA is planning all kinds of February events including a romantic, five-course dinner on Feb. 14 at the Restaurant at Copia. The menu features chef Polly Lapetito’s famous Cacio e Pepe and ends with a Chocolate Bombe. Cost: $85 per person.
— Couples Who Wine Together, a walk-around tasting featuring couples who make wine together on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. Cost: $35
— Tastemakers: Made with Love: A conversation with a winemaking couple that includes a taste of their favorite wines and family-style plates courtesy of The Restaurant at CIA Copia on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. Cost: $75
— Don’t Be Bitter(s): Single Awareness Day: celebrate your single status at a special tasting featuring favorite bitter liqueurs (amaro) from regions throughout Italy. They’ll have a station set up with club soda, tonic, and garnishes. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. Cost: $35
— Bubbles for Every Occasion: Learn about tasting, buying, serving, and fun pairings for sparkling wine. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. Cost: $35.

Cordeiro’s Steakhouse: Cordeiro’s romantic menu on Feb. 14 includes: smoked salmon crostini or a fresh Dungeness crab cocktail for starters, followed by a choise of a Boston butter lettuce salad or Yukon Gold potato and leek soup. For entrees, choose either the petite filet mignon, Norwegian halibut or lobster ravioli. Dessert is fresh fruit and chocolate fondue.

FARM at Carneros: Their Valentine’s Day dinner, on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 5:30-10 p.m., will be “an evening of romance” with a seasonal, five-course tasting menu, designed by chef Aaron Meneghelli, and featuring Nantucket Bay scallops, Périgord truffles and local caviar. Guests have the option of adding wine pairings and supplemental courses. The five-course tasting menu is priced at $125 per person. Goose & Gander: A special menu on Feb. 14, Chef Nic Jones is offering four-courses, with a choice of 2-3 items per course. Goose & Gander’s Valentine’s Day menu is $115 per person, with an optional four-course wine pairing offered at $65 per person.
First course options include orange and coffee roasted carrots with warm burrata, or Shigoku oysters with Meyer Lemon and horseradish sorbet.
Second course options include Martini House mushroom soup or Dungeness crab cake with Sauce Gribiche.
The third course has three options: Sweet pea agnolotti and Perigord truffles with mascarpone or buttermilk fried quail with apple butter, spaetzle and red cabbage kraut or filet mignon and diver scallop.
For dessert, choose between passion fruit creme brulee or Sweetheart S’mores.
There is a full bar for cocktails.

Lucy at Bardessono: Chef Nate Lindsay’s special menu invites guests to a romantic five-course dinner experience” on Feb. 14. It starts with the Oyster and Caviar Sampler for Two with smoked champagne mignonette and proceeds to options like Baby Beet and Goat Cheese Salad and Sonoma Duck Breast. The Valentine’s Day chef’s tasting menu is available for $150 per person from 5:30 -10 p.m. Reservations can be made through the website at bardessono.com or call (707) 204–6000. Two Birds One Stone: The St. Helena restaurant will serve a romantic prix fixe feast of shared dishes Black Truffle Miso Soup, Dungeness Crab Fried Rice, 72 Hour Truffled Waygu Pot Roast and Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. $95 per person.
