A pair of Ahnfeldt wines received top awards at the California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition.

Judges awarded the 2010 Ahnfeldt Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Black Label a Double Gold and Best of Class for the Napa Valley Region and handed out Gold and Best of Class in the region for the 2010 Ahnfeldt Napa Valley Merlot Reserve.

This competition is one of the oldest and most respected in North America. For this year's competition more than 2,625 wines were submitted. The Ahnfeldt winemaking team includes consulting winemaker Paul Hobbs.

The panel of judges includes winemakers, wine educators, journalists and top restaurateurs.
