ParentsCAN hosts its High Hopes Gala fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 24, at The Westin Verasa Napa at 6 p.m.

ParentsCAN is a parent-led nonprofit organization that offers family support services in Napa County. ParentsCAN volunteers know that every child’s journey is different. The organization guides parents when challenges arise in their child’s education, health, behavior or development, so children can reach their full potential.

ParentsCAN programs are tailored based on the child’s age and what they need help with—whether it’s school, medical concerns, mental or behavioral challenges.

The High Hopes Gala celebrates families of children with special needs while recognizing the many challenges they face and the everyday efforts they make to ensure their children achieve their brightest futures.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $175. The evening includes a three-course dinner prepared by chef Ken Frank, and a live and silent auction. KTVU sportscaster Mark Ibañez will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Entertainment will be provided by comedian Michael Pritchard.

To purchase tickets, visit or call 707-253-7444, ext. 101.

The dinner gala will raise funds for ParentsCAN’s High Hopes Fund, which directly supports the organization’s most important efforts to support local Napa families on their journeys and help them work through the high costs of treatment.

“The ultimate goal of the High Hopes Gala is to make sure our children achieve their brightest futures by building a community where every individual is accepted and valued,” said ParentsCAN Executive Director Marlena Garcia. “We invite you to help us achieve this goal by attending this event and help us make that future a reality.

ParentsCAN provides services throughout Napa County from its Napa-based resource center located at 1909 Jefferson St. All services are offered in English and Spanish and are free to Napa County residents. For more information, visit
