A 14-year-old boy released from Juvenile Hall Thursday was arrested a few hours later in the 1000 block of Broadmoor Drive near Partrick Road after he was found in bushes, allegedly intoxicated, according to Napa police.
A Vallejo K-9 police officer driving home from work in his patrol car at about 10:10 p.m. called police after seeing someone hid in bushes behind a fence, Capt. Jeff Troendly said.
The juvenile, a documented gang member on probation, was pushed to the ground after he refused to show his hands after numerous commands, Troendly said.
The youth kept his hands under his body in spite of officers ordering him to place them out to the side, he said. He was handcuffed after a Taser was used, Troendly said. The Vallejo K-9 was not used.
The boy was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with a complaint of pain. He was treated and transported to Juvenile hall, Troendly said. He was booked on suspicion of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, police said.
