A 26-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after police responded at 10:23 p.m. to a report of a subject opening doors of vehicles parked near Marin and H streets south of Lincoln Avenue, according to Napa police.

Nicholas Alves, of Napa, whose description matched the suspect’s, was located in the 2300 block of California Boulevard, Capt. Jeff Troendly said.

Alves was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of probation violation, breaking into vehicles, and burglary, police said.
