A 22-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of stabbing a boyfriend in the hand at a residence in the 2400 block of Laurel Street, according to the Napa Police Department.

Officers who responded to the incident at 10:32 p.m. found the alleged victim leaning out of a bathroom window, police said. The male subject said he had locked himself in the bathroom but that the suspect, Sandyvel Raymundo Delgadillo, of Napa, was still in the residence, police said. When officers kicked the door to enter the residence, Delgadillo allegedly ran toward the back of the house, police said. Officers deployed a stun gun and the suspect fell to the ground, police said.

Delgadillo was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, resisting a police officer and probation violation for a previous drug arrest, police said.

The alleged victim sustained a stab wound to the hand but refused medical attention.
