An unlocked garage in the 5100 block of Wild Horse Valley Road was burglarized last weekend, with the owner reporting the loss of $3,000 worth of personal belongings, including two bikes, golf clubs and weights, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.

The burglary was reported at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, said Capt. Tracey Stuart. The family had heard a noise at around 3 a.m. the night before, but thought it was an animal, she said. But when they went to the garage, the items were missing. The incident remains under investigation.
