Napa police pulled over a 31-year-old man Saturday morning on suspicion of a vehicle code violation, then arrested him when they allegedly found drugs in his vehicle, authorities said.
Jose Enrique Cervantes-Cendejas, of Napa, was pulled over around 11 a.m. in the area of Pueblo Avenue and Jefferson Street regarding a suspected vehicle code violation, police said. The man gave police permission to search the vehicle, which allegedly turned up suspected methamphetamine and suspected cocaine.
Cervantes-Cendejas was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, possessing meth for sale, transporting meth, possessing cocaine and transporting cocaine, police said. He was booked into the Napa jail.
