A pair of Napa residents were arrested at their home in the 500 block of Coombs Street on Saturday morning following an alleged altercation, police said.

Officers were called to the residence just after 10 a.m. on report that a woman was being held at knifepoint, police said. On arrival, officers contacted Theodore James Hartman, 46, and 45-year-old Janet Louise Wesner.

Both subjects reportedly had visible injuries, though none were inflicted by a knife, police said. The pair would not tell police the exact circumstances of the argument.

Hartman and Wesner were arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, police said. Hartman was also charged with brandishing a weapon other than a firearm, a misdemeanor. The pair was booked into the Napa jail.
