After easing to 6-16 mph in the afternoon, local winds are forecast to reach 12-17 mph in the early evening, with gusts peaking at 22 mph, before slowing to 5-10 mph later tonight.
The high temperature forecast at Napa County Airport is 82 degrees, with an overnight low of 44.
Today's wind and heat are expected to abate on Wednesday, with a daytime high dropping into the mid-70s.
