Napa Valley College is asking for the public’s input as officials begin their search for a permanent college president.
The public is invited to attend a forum at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the McCarthy Library Community Room to share their thoughts on what desirable qualifications a candidate should have.
A formal announcement of the position’s opening will take place in mid-December.
College officials expect to appoint a permanent college president in early May.
Ron Kraft has been interim president of Napa Valley College since Aug. 1. Kraft took over from Armond Phillips, who served as acting president after the departure of Dr. Edna Baehre-Kolovani, who left in July to assume the presidency of Tidewater Community College in Virginia.
